The Little House of Arts is our next featured business located in Scituate, MA.
Julie Hawkins opened the doors to her studio 16 years ago, pursuing her lifelong dream. She offers classes to children as well as adults and creates a place for them to be themselves. Students can take classes in jewelry, sculpture, clay, drawing, painting, mixed media, crafts, etc. Julie says, “If you can imagine it, we can create it!”
Julie’s goal for her studio is to “provide a place for children and adults to express themselves while building self-esteem in the process.” Julie strives to make Little House of Arts a safe place where everyone feels welcome and accepted when sharing their unique creations. The classes begin with warm welcomes and introductions, and then students are able to work independently or collaboratively. Students are encouraged to take their own spin on the projects and develop camaraderie as well as have fun.
