Rhythmic DreamsRhythmic Dreams is the next business highlighted in our local business blog series. Rhythmic Dreams is a rhythmic gymnastics school located in Newton and offers a variety of different classes for all ages and levels.

Smaranda Albeck, founder and Executive Director of Rhythmic Dreams, answers our questions below:

Boston Tutoring Services: How long have you been in business?

Smaranda Albeck: 13 years

BTS: Which age groups of children most commonly visit/attend?

SA: 5-6 and 7-8 years old

BTS: Can you tell us more about the services/programs that you offer?

SA: We offer a full range of classes and programs for after school during the school year and weekly day camps during the summer. We offer rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, dance, yoga from preschool to adult, beginner to elite.

BTS: What sets you apart from other similar businesses?

SA: A great program structure, focus on skill development, and a good balance between rigorous discipline and fun.

BTS: What do you enjoy most about working with children?

SA: We really enjoy the fact that we can empower kids to reach beyond what they think is possible. When you see the look on a little girl’s face – the pride that she did something she did not think she could do before…  We gently sculpt the girls’ bodies through beautiful exercises with balls, ribbons, hoops and other small equipment, and they turn into confident, beautiful young ladies.

Rhythmic Dreams’ website states, “Our non-profit rhythmic gymnastics school was founded in 2002 to bring rhythmic gymnastics into the lives of more girls and young women in the Boston area, and has grown to be the largest rhythmic gymnastics organization in New England today!”
