Ari has been tutoring for 9 years in Math (through Algebra II), English and writing skills, History/Social Studies, Science (including Biology, Statistics and Research Methods), Spanish, College Admission Essays, and study skills for students in grades 6-12. He prepares students for all sections of the ACT, SAT, SATII Literature, PSAT, HSPT, ISEE, SSAT, and MCAS tests. He provides college students with English Composition support, including essay writing, organizing large projects, proofreading, and editing. He also tutors in the Arabic language. He has recently completed his MA in Government with Thesis from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel.
Ari says: “I have worked with several learning styles, and take an adaptive teaching approach. I see tutoring as a constructive process whereby the student, the student’s parent(s) and myself regularly discuss the tutoring process as well as the student’s study habits as appropriate by age. When I’m not tutoring, I’m biking across the North Shore, collecting music from around the world for my Youtube playlists, stitching together databases for research, or experimenting with new recipes.”
