Jessica teaches English Language Arts to students in high school and college, and is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at University of Massachusetts Boston. She prepares students for college admission essays and has prior experience as a proofreader and as a financial aid director. She is also in the process of completing her Master of Arts degree in English at University of Massachusetts Boston.

Jessica says: “As a lover of all things English literature, I am thrilled to have the chance to help others hone their skills and gain confidence in their ability to write well. I am an Anglophile at heart, having studied abroad at Oxford University during my undergraduate years. My favorite author is Jane Austen, and I am enamored with the poetry of John Keats. In my downtime I enjoy going to the theater, cooking, bike riding, and running. I also have an affinity for writing poetry. On weekends I am usually with my boyfriend exploring the city or shopping at markets to support local makers. I would be happy to meet your student and help him or her realize the potential to be a great writer is in all of us!”
