Marie says: Hi Families, I have 25 years of teaching experience. My experience includes teaching integrated classrooms in public schools, tutoring literacy skills and homework help for grades K-6, and teaching the summer reading program for my school district. I successfully taught the only class of Zoom First Graders in my school district during the pandemic year (and received recognition from the Superintendent). It was like combining my experience of both a teacher and tutor as I was virtually in family homes for six hour days, five days a week! I love making a difference and  being able to successfully assist students. Just as important, I enjoy working with families. Recognizing that each child is unique with individual needs is the first step in providing services. With my personal life, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my pet dog. I also enjoy going for 5k runs, reading, and following Boston sports teams. I look forward to collaborating with you in addressing the needs of your child.”
