Donate Gently Used Coats To A Charity Near You

If this winter season is anything like last year’s, it is sure to be a cold one. Boston Tutoring Services would like to encourage everyone to donate gently used coats to a charity near you. With the first snowfall of the year already behind us, we should all pitch in to make sure everyone has a warm coat.

Get your children involved by teaching them how important it is for every child to have a warm coat. If you tell your children that some kids will go without coats this season, they will likely want to donate their old coats to children in need. Take a few minutes to go through your closet and find old coats to donate. Make this holiday season a giving one, and include your children to teach them how important it is to give to those less fortunate.

Anton’s Cleaners has partnered with Jordan’s furniture to collect coats this year for their 20th annual Coats for Kids program. The deadline is January 10th, and the coats can be brought to any Anton’s Cleaners or Jordan’s Furniture. Anton’s will clean the coats for free and distribute them along with their partners, such as Salvation Army, Community Giving Tree, Wish project, and many more. Burlington Coat Factory also has a program in which they collect coats called Warm Coats & Warm Hearts.The program is in its 7th year, and their mission continues to be providing as many coats to those in need as possible. With the help of their partners at ABC’s Good Morning America and K.I.D.S/Fashion Delivers, this program has already collected over 1 million coats for those in need!
