Donate to Globe Santa

“Globe Santa was created in 1956 to deliver holiday gifts to local children in need. That year, Globe Santa collected $51,000 in donations to help 6,200 Greater Boston area families. The number of families requesting assistance has continued to grow. In 2013, more than $1.2 million in donations helped 25,924 local families!”

This holiday season, Boston Tutoring Services will be donating to Globe Santa. We feel that it is important to give to those less fortunate during the holidays, and we encourage everyone to do the same. All donations are greatly appreciated, big or small!

It is also important to teach your children about giving, and the best time to do this is around the holidays. Children know that they receive gifts around the holidays, and it is important for them to understand that there are children who are less fortunate. If they develop charitable habits when they are young, they will likely continue to give when they are adults and pass it on to their children. Get the whole family involved in donating this year. It’s a great way to spend time together and help those in need.
