This week we are featuring Good Life Kitchen as a part of our local business blog series.
Good Life Kitchen has been in business in Norwell since November 2012, teaching classes to individuals, families, and groups. Their goal is to provide a hands-on approach to cooking as well as provide their students with smarter and better eating habits at home. The courses are offered throughout the year and anyone can take a class, no matter their level of cooking skills. Students learn how to cook several different cuisines as well as ways to make the process fun.
The program that focuses on children is their ‘Kids ARE Cooking Summer Series’ which runs Mondays through Fridays from 9:00am-12:30pm for children ages 7-14. These classes “help to build confidence in the kitchen and a positive sense of accomplishment with a delicious result. It is always inspiring to see a child in one of our classes embrace a new food or technique and take their new skills home to share with the whole family,” says Lindsay Grimes, an assistant at Good Life Kitchen.
Good Life Kitchen also offers after school programs for kids on weekdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm. To look at their class calendar and previous classes click here. For more information about their programs from South Shore Living Magazine, click here.
