Summer Reading Challenge

Do you love reading? Do you want to become a “Reading Superhero?” Register now to Scholastic’s Summer Reading Challenge and get reading!

Although the contest has already begun, it’s not too late to sign up. The contest began in May and goes until September 9th. It’s a simple task that requires, reading, logging, and fun.

To compete, you must read for as many minutes you can and keep track of your progress. You will then get to enjoy all sorts of “virtual prizes.” You can even enter to win additional prizes for Scholastic’s Summer Sweepstakes.

So far this summer, there are over 114,000,000 minutes read in the challenge. You can log onto Scholastic’s website to explore and see how your school is reading.

Be sure to take a book with you to the beach or on a long car ride and get the most out of your summer minutes! Explore books you wouldn’t normally get to read and enjoy escaping into their worlds.
