Keep Your Kids Busy This Summer in Springfield

In our Summer Reading Series for 2019, we will be featuring the summer reading programs of public libraries in different towns from all over Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Let’s take a look at the Springfield Library’s Summer Reading Program.

The Springfield Library’s summer reading program runs from June 17th to August 17th. Every day that a person (all ages are welcome to participate!) reads for at least 20 minutes, they can check a box on their reading log. After reading for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 days, they will receive a variety of prizes. Reading logs can be picked up at any Springfield Library location. In addition to their summer reading club, the Springfield Library is also offering a variety of programming for the summer months. Here are just a few of the events they have planned:

Family Storytime at Pine Point. Wednesdays 4:15-5 PM. Ages 4-10, siblings welcome. Join us for stories and a craft. No registration required.
