Boston Tutoring Services is excited to share the Open House dates of local schools. Take the time to research these schools and visit the ones that seem like a good fit for your family. The Academy Open House is a great way to experience a day on campus and meet the staff. This week we are featuring Meridian Academy in Jamaica Plain, MA.
Meridian Academy will be holding four open houses over the next several months. All sessions not noted as being “virtual only” are planned to be in person events.
1. Evening Information Session (virtual only)–Monday, October 25th 2021 at 7:00 PM
2. Morning Information Session–Tuesday, November 16th 2021 at 9:00 PM
3. Evening Information Session–Wednesday, December 1st 2021 at 7:00 PM
4. Morning Information Session–Friday, January 21st 2022 at 9:00 AM
Meridian Academy says, “Applying to Meridian is a process of discovering what is possible when a school celebrates every student’s curiosity and creativity. Meridian students are known, contribute, and grow into who they imagine they can be. Meridian serves students in grades 6 through 12. We accept new students in grades 6 through 10. Applicants for 9th grade must successfully complete a year-long algebra course by the end of 8th grade. 10th grade applicants will be considered if there is a strong alignment between their course of study and Meridian’s courses. All of Meridian is learning together, in person, five days a week with all academic and extracurricular programs in place. Meridian has a vaccination mandate and 100% of our staff and all age-eligible students are vaccinated. Everyone participates in PCR, saliva-based testing weekly. All community members and guests visiting our building must be vaccinated (if age-eligible) and masked.”
