Lexington Patriots Day Parade
When: Monday, April 18, 2022
Where: 1625 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA

Commemorate Patriot’s Day at the annual parade in Lexington starting at 2 p.m. Join the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts and many reenactment groups as they commemorate the ‘shot heard ’round the world’ and the battle of Lexington and Concord. Starting at Massachusetts Avenue and Maple Street in East Lexington, proceeding west along Massachusetts Avenue through Lexington Center, left onto Worthen Road ending at the Town Pool Parking Lot.

247th Patriots Day Parade
When: Monday, April 18, 2022
Where: 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA
Age: all ages
Cost: free
The City of Boston invites you to the 247th Patriots Day Parade, which begins on April 18 at 9 a.m. The parade starts at City Hall Plaza. Don’t miss the reenactment of the ride of Paul Revere, taking place at the Paul Revere Mall at 9:30 a.m.

April Vacation Theatre Camp
When: Monday, April 18, 2022 – Friday, April 22, 2022
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: 395 Main Street, Stoneham, MA
Age: grades 1-6
Cost: $500
Join a host of iconic characters and leap into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss. Actors in the April session will explore all things musical: body percussion, creating their own instruments, and singing songs inspired by the many lyrical verses of Dr. Seuss. Students will use these skills to develop their own play that will be staged, rehearsed, and culminate in a public performance! The week will culminate in a performance of an original, fully-soundscaped, student-written play. Open to fully vaccinated students.

April Vacation Parkour Camp
When: Monday, April 18, 2022 – Friday, April 22, 2022
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 253 Mansfield Ave, Norton, MA
Age: ages 7 and up
Cost: $80 per day
CampHUB is all about combining the expert tutelage of our parkour instructors, with classic and fun camp games and activities such as dodgeball and hide and seek! Throughout the week your child will learn parkour skills such as climbing, jumping, vaulting, swinging, and flipping. All skill levels are welcome in CampHUB, no previous parkour experience is necessary. We also will be hosting some fun events during the week such as NERF wars, acrobatics and flipping lessons, and even some games on our Nintendo Switch. Spend your vacation at the best parkour gym in New England, make some new friends, and have an absolute blast doing it!

PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration: April Vacation Camps
When: Monday, April 18, 2022 – Friday, April 22, 2022

Where: 45 Puddingstone Lane, Newton, MA
Age: ages 4-7
Cost: $90 per day
Get your youngsters out and exploring during their days off from school. We’ll watch the natural world wake up together as we hop like bunnies, wiggle like worms, and search for signs of new life in the spring! Each day, we’ll explore a different nature topic through hands-on exploration, active play, stories, crafts, and games. Sign up for one day or more!

April Vacation Week: Going Green

At The Umbrella, we believe that everyone is an artist. We have designed our April Vacation Week Art Explorers program with variety in mind to give students the opportunity to discover, explore, and experiment in the arts. Art Explorers – Going Green will get the creative sparks going with hands-on projects in Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, 2D & 3D Mixed Media, Performing Arts, Workshop and more. Students will explore the concepts of reduce, reuse and recycle by making art inspired by the earth.

New England Folk Festival 2022 – Virtual
When: Friday, April 22, 2022 – Sunday, April 24, 2022

Cost: recommended donation of $15
The New England Folk Festival is a fabulous blend of dance, music, crafts, and food from many lands. Tune in and enjoy as NEFFA comes to you, with live online events every month! After the concert, all are welcome to stay online to hang out, socialize, and connect with our beloved NEFFA community. These monthly concerts will be recorded and will also be made available on the website.
