Posted in Holidays - 0 Comments
.Are you willing to spread the holiday cheer this year? Boston Tutoring Services is happy to promote organizations who help people in need. There are plenty of fantastic organizations that provide us all with the chance to give back through donating or volunteering, and the holidays are always a time of year in which people need some extra help. If you are able to help those less fortunate, please consider donating to the following organizations this holiday season.
Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless
The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless partners with public schools to assist students whose families are at risk of becoming homeless. A gift to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless provides hope to low-income families and individuals who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Your support will help fund innovative programing that can make a difference this holiday season.

Catie’s Closet
When COVID-19 mitigation measures resulted in nationwide school closures and economic lockdowns, Catie’s Closet stood as an essential provider of basic necessities to local families in need. In normal circumstances, our model serves students within their schools. To meet the immediate and growing need of students and their entire families, we quickly adjusted to provide critical clothing and toiletries outside of schools to lessen the burden of rising unemployment and a deeper level of poverty. Our Holiday of Giving program is designed to take the guesswork out creating an impactful volunteering opportunity.

House of Hope
House of Hope is dedicated to homeless families in Massachusetts, helping them gain stable housing and transition into community life. Donating helps provide services that (1) respect and nurture families so they can begin to heal from the trauma of homelessness, and (2) support parents by guiding them through opportunities to build economic sufficiency and embrace a stable home life. Services include emergency shelter for parents and their children, affordable housing, job training, and other support services.
