Thank you for asking about our experience working with BTS. I’m happy to say that we were very pleased with the service. It helped our son know what to expect from the exam (ISEE: entrance at 7th Grade) and I think he was far more prepared for the questions than he would have been without it. In fact, he told me that he wouldn’t have been able to do some sections without Matthew LaSpina’s teaching. He’s a good student, but I think BTS gave him an extra edge. In addition, I was impressed with Matthew’s patience, teaching ability and general demeanor.
My son’s stanines on the exam were 8,7,7 and 5. We were very pleased with his achievement. We haven’t heard from the schools he applied to yet, but I’m certain his chances were improved by using BTS.

David Hung was always on time, and ensured the lessons were understood before moving on to another subject. I was so happy when I found Boston Tutoring Services for my twin sons. Boston Tutoring Services was very accommodating and efficient. The boys’ tutor, Simon Beugekian, was a perfect fit for my boys. He taught them different strategies for both the language and math sections. He especially helped them on the essay section of the test. He helped them become familiar with the test format, and prepared them for the SSAT test. Simon was always courteous, and was incredibly punctual and flexible, which helped with our busy schedules.
