Ana tutors students in grades 1-6 in all subject areas, especially English Language Arts. She also tutors students in elementary-level French. She supports students in organization and study skills, and has worked with students at a wide range of levels. She is experienced in working with students with special needs, especially behavioral needs, anxiety, ADHD, and ASD.
Ana is a dedicated educator who has achieved Dean’s List honors at Eckerd College and is a proud member of the Communications Honors Society. Passionate about positive reinforcement and positive teaching, Ana believes that highlighting students’ strengths fosters a flourishing learning environment. Driven by a love for seeing students happy and connected in school, Ana strives to create a supportive classroom where students can excel and thrive. With a background as captain of both the Soccer and Track teams in high school, Ana brings a team-oriented approach to teaching. A certified Pilates instructor and avid runner, Ana values health and wellness, both in and out of the classroom. A fan of the Red Sox and Washington Nationals,  Ana finds joy in sports and has a deep appreciation for travel, having studied abroad in the South of France for six months. At home, she shares life with two beloved cats, Denise and Lady.
