Heather tutors students in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts and Math, as well as ESL. She prepares students for all sections of the ISEE, SSAT, and MAPs tests. She is experienced in tutoring students with special needs, including students with ADHD, communication impairments, behavioral disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. She is experienced in working with struggling readers and is familiar with a wide range of curricula. She enjoys individualizing her instruction to meet the specific needs of her students.

Heather is native to Doylestown, PA but has lived in Boston for the past 7 years. She’s known she’s wanted to be a teacher since she was in fourth grade and believes that every child can succeed with the right support. She loves traveling with her family; her favorite place that she’s been to is Queenstown, New Zealand. She is a big dog lover and can’t wait to have a golden retriever of her own.
