Laura Baginski

Laura tutors students in PreK-12th grade in English Language Arts, and students in PreK-8th grade in Math and Spanish. She has been serving as an Academic Coordinator for students struggling with trauma and housing instability, and has extensive experience working with students with social/emotional needs, as well as students with special needs, including ASD and ADHD. She is experienced in developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of her students.
“Laura has discovered her passion for working and connecting with students in a variety of settings. She deepened her love for cultural exchange and language through living in Spain this past summer, where she completed a service learning immersion program and learned more about the country’s health and education system. Laura grew up in Portland, Maine, where she developed a love for the outdoors, the ocean and New England. During her time at Bates college, she was a member of the Women’s Ice Hockey Team and a Co-ed Acapella group. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, playing guitar, spending time with family (and dogs), and continuing to explore Boston.“
