Lizzie tutors students in grades 2-12 in Biology, Chemistry, English Language Arts, and Math. She studied Emergency Medical Science and holds EMT/EMT-B/BLS Provider certifications, and worked as an EMT for several years. She was pre-med during her undergraduate studies, and served as the Vice President/President of the EMT Club. She is experienced in working with children with a wide range of special needs, and enjoys developing personalized materials to meet the specific needs of her students.
Lizzie says: “Hi! I’m Lizzie. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and moved up here to Boston recently to work at Boston Children’s! I have always loved tutoring students and getting to share my passions and love for learning. Just a little bit more about me, I have three co-authored publications from my time at the Neuroscience Institute in Charlotte, I grew up playing basketball, and I love watching sports, especially the Carolina Hurricanes, Panthers, and Tar Heels. I love pets, music, and baking, and am a really big movie connoisseur. I hope to meet you soon!”
