Megan Williams

Education:

Bachelor of Arts, English, Boston University, 2020

Megan tutors students in English Language Arts from second grade through undergraduate level (including supporting college students with written coursework), math from second through tenth grade (including algebra and geometry), and French. She prepares students for all sections of the ISEE and SSAT tests. She has experience working with students for whom English is not their first language, as well as students with special needs (including ADHD and visual impairment). She enjoys developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of her students.
Megan says, “When I’m not tutoring, you can find me on the beach with a book in hand, preparing for the next scuba dive, or exploring cafes around me. Most of my examples in my lessons will include an anecdote about my dog Teddy, the cutest dog in the world (even though I am biased, once I show you a picture you will agree) or stories including my two younger sisters (and the mischief we frequently caused). I am passionate about traveling and learning new languages, as I believe both teach us to think differently and open ourselves up to new perspectives. I can’t wait to meet you (virtually)!”
