Rebecka says: “My name is Rebecka, I have always wanted to work in education and have worked with children for 8 years. I am currently a 5th grade teacher in Newton, and would love to be able to support more students one on one in accomplishing their academic goals. My educational philosophy is that every learner is different, and it is up to the teacher to know the student and create lessons that are fun, engaging, and personalized. I grew up playing softball, and played collegiately for 4 years. I now enjoy staying active through slowpitch softball, pickleball, and 5ks. I have two beautiful cats and I like to take them on walks in a little backpack! I moved to Massachusetts from Florida last summer, and so far have loved it! I look forward to working with your families and students!
