“Victoria is well versed in scientific literature and speaking, and is a published author on multiple scientific journals. She has also given numerous professional presentations on her scientific research, and received academic awards and honors in college for her mastery of subject knowledge in biology, psychology, and physics. Her decision to become a high school science teacher arose from her desire to inspire a love of scientific exploration in students, and connect them with purpose and knowledge about the natural world. Victoria’s approach to education involves capturing student interest in subject matter and helping them make connections with applicable skills and real world issues. Throughout her life, Victoria has been a soccer player, an avid horse back rider, and a long distance runner. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and spending time outside. She comes from a big family from the Midwest, and will be cheering on the Bears this season.“
