Abigail Cahill


Bachelor of Arts, English & Elementary Education, Wheaton College, 2020

Abigail tutors students in grades 2 and 3 in all subject areas, and students in grades 2 through 12, through undergraduate level, in English Language Arts. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Library and Information Science at Simmons University. She is experienced in working with students with special needs, especially dyslexia.
 Abigail graduated from Wheaton college cum laude and wrote an honor’s thesis on Beowulf. She also conducted digital humanities research on the text of Beowulf that will appear in a book. In college she was an Education minor and spent time in classrooms and took MTELS. As a dyslexic person herself she believes strongly in teaching children through patience and respect. In her free time she is an avid rock climber. She also does embroidery and has a long haired black cat named Mischief who loves to steal food.
