Austin has been tutoring for 7 years, with students in grades 6-10 in English Language Arts, Writing, Science, and Math. He prepares students for all sections of the SSAT and ISEE tests. He is currently working in pharmacoepidemiology research as a Research Analyst at Harvard Medical School/Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. He has extensive experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.

Austin says: “My name is Austin Cosgrove. I am 26 years old from Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Allegheny College in 2015 with a degree in Biochemistry and Global Health Studies. Upon graduation, I completed a year of service as a City Year AmeriCorps at the Trotter Innovation School in Dorchester, MA. I worked with 7th grade students as an academic tutor in English Language Arts and mathematics. I currently work as a Research Analyst in Harvard Medical School’s Department of Population Medicine on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Sentinel Initiative. Some of my interests include public health, biotechnology, literature, dance and choreography, and music. I look forward to working with your student in helping them to reach their goals.”
