Bachelor of Arts, Statistics, University of Rochester, 2020
Grace tutors students in grades 6-12 in Math, including Algebra, Statistics, and a wide range of other disciplines. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Teaching Secondary Education at The Lynch School Of Education and Human Development, Boston College. She is experienced in working with students with a wide range of learning disabilities, including ADHD. She also supports students with time management, focus, and study skills.
Grace says: “I used to be the kid who was scared of math and not confident in my abilities, and my teachers helped me change my perspective and gain a love of math. Because of this, my goal with any teaching I do is to not only help my students understand the material but also to help them become comfortable and confident learning difficult topics. Outside of teaching, I spend my time reading and painting. I love hiking and being outdoors. I’ve climbed 2 of the Adirondacks, but would love to climb all 46 one day! I also have 3 dogs, one of whom is bigger than I am.”
