Karen Algus

Karen has been teaching and tutoring students in pre-K through 6^th grade in reading for 15 years. This past year Karen has tutored virtually in a variety of settings and learning platforms. She is trained in a variety of literacy curricula, as well as Handwriting Without Tears, Wilson Fundations, and Fountas and Pinnell. She is experienced in working with students with a wide range of special learning needs, and has served as a literacy tutor/interventionist in the Natick public schools for the last nine years.  She has also worked with ELL students. Previously, she worked as an educational advocate and consultant for students with special needs.
