Katie says: “My name is Katie Mason. I recently completed a Masters of Divinity at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and I now work at my church as a Director of Christian Education and Community Engagement.  I have a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Teaching. I taught for two years in Houston, and I have tutored for several years.  I absolutely love teaching and tutoring. I believe that students are capable of much more than they often think they are. I love helping students to realize their potential when they finally fully grasp a concept. At my seminary, I serve as the Justice Student Association Chair, and I intern with my church in Peabody. I love soccer and baseball, and in my free time I frequently read and write. I have a thirst for adventure. I have been to most of the seven continents and explored much of the US. I spent this last summer hiking and working in Glacier National Park with ACMNP. I hope I will be able to learn more about you and your student soon!”
