He prepares students for all sections of the ISEE and SSAT tests. He has experience working with students with a wide range of special needs and has taught within a pull-out class setting. He is experienced in developing individualized curriculum for his students and tailoring his approach to meet their individual needs. Additionally, he served as a ski school teacher and tour guide in Colorado, as well as a bike tour guide in New York City and Washington DC.

Sam says, “Teaching has never felt like work for me. Every day is different, every student is unique, so every lesson must be tailored. I love the variety that teaching brings and the challenge of helping a child grow as a student and as an individual. I’ve led literacy programs in DC and created a summer school curriculum in New York. Outside of teaching and tutoring I love skiing, hiking, photography, and painting. I studied abroad in the Czech Republic and have two new puppies that love the outdoors as much as I do.”
