Staying Organized

Planning on starting the new school year off stress-free? Staying organized will help you set new goals and make it even easier to complete them throughout the school year. The good news is that there are many ways to approach being organized to help suit everyone’s own unique way of doing things. Being organized saves time and can also be a great way to bring your creativity to your daily assignments.

Having an agenda book is one of the first easy steps that I have used myself, which has always been an important asset to a successful start to a new semester. You can find an agenda book online at Staples.com or any office supply store near you! Documenting your daily TO DO’s in your calendar helps keep you on track of what is due and when. It is a helpful tool to help you delegate your time wisely, so no assignments are being left behind or turned in late. For those who are also active with any after school clubs, sports and other activities an agenda book can also help avoid any event or task from overlapping or being forgotten. Most office supply stores also have an organization section to help guide you in the right direction when organizing. Such as, Target, which is full of great variety that fits your own unique style and it’s also very affordable!

Preparing for each day the night before can also be a helpful routine to a successful new day. Even laying your outfit out for the next morning, packing your lunch the night before and making sure your backpack is organized and filled with the right material ready to go can help save time and make the morning run smoother for a more productive day. Teachers love when their students are organized; it makes their day run just as smoothly. Being organized also shows your teacher your dedication to the school year. Having all your supplies and completed work ready and on time shows how well you have managed your time and effort. Making the effort to be organized also helps you feel more determined inside and outside the classroom. Making a list of what you have to do is the first step to creating and completing goals.
