.National Book Lover’s Day is August 9th! Celebrate this year by reading a new book or an old favorite. If you’re at the beach, curled up on the couch, or on a long road trip with a book in hand, sit back, relax, and get reading!
National Book Lover’s Day is also a great way to encourage your kids to do some reading. Maybe they still have some required summer reading to do, or they’ve been wanting to read the latest book series made into movies. Be sure to get them involved and share in the joy of reading.
Here are some other ways to celebrate August 9th:
- Reorganize your bookshelf
- Donate old books to those in need
- Share books with friends/start a book club
- Throw a literary themed party
