Boston Tutoring Services is excited to share the Open House dates of local schools. Take the time to research these schools and visit the ones that seem like a good fit for your family. Open Houses are a great way to experience a day on campus and meet the staff. This week we are featuring Meridian Academy located in Jamaica Plain, MA.
The Meridian Academy Information Sessions for fall 2017 are as follows:
Wednesday, October 17th, 7-8:30pm
Wednesday, November 14th, 9am
Monday, December 10th, 7-8:30pm
Meridian’s main evening information sessions for both applicants and their parents are Wednesday, October 17th and Monday, December 10th with check in from 6:45 – 7pm. The event runs from 7 – 8:30pm and includes a formal presentation as well as an open house time to speak with current parents, students, and teachers. They also have a less full-featured daytime visit on Wednesday, November 14th at 9am that requires an RSVP.
Meridian Academy is a diverse, project-based secondary school that serves students in grades six through twelve from Boston and the surrounding communities. By carrying out long-term original projects, Meridian students become experienced problem solvers, questioners, and community members. As an independent school, our teachers and students have the freedom to focus on the skills and ideas that support life-long learning.
