Aaija says: “Hi my name is Aaija (My name is pronounced like the continent Asia)! I began my teaching journey because of my love for learning. It is my hope that my students fall in love with learning too! Over time I realized that my passion — my love — is seeing a learner’s curiosity blend into ideas and connections. The moment when all the little pieces finally form a big picture, when everything connects, is chilling in the best ways! Outside of teaching, I love different art expressions. I enjoy dancing, listening to music, and painting. I typically like anything that gets me moving. In addition, I am a huge traveller. Though I prefer warmer climates, I like trying new foods and going on outdoor adventures. My favorites have been Ghana, Mexico, and Costa Rica, however my bucket list is ever growing!
