Andreea says, “Hi students and parents!! I am looking forward to meeting and working with you, but here are a few things about me until then :). I was born and raised in Romania until the age of 15, when my parents and I moved to Atlanta, GA. I am a huge animal lover and I really want to get a dog once I settle down at my own place. I enjoy walking through museum galleries, reading nonfiction books, going for runs in the park, watching soccer and basketball games, and traveling whenever I get the chance. My favorite food is sushi of all kinds, and I only wish I could make it as good at home as they do in restaurants. I am not the best cook, but I am an aspiring physician, specifically a pediatrician of some specialty, which I believe is what sparked my interest to work with children a while back. I began tutoring younger students in high school and I enjoyed seeing them improve their grades and skills, while also teaching them to build a bigger picture and make sense of their school work in their day-to-day life. I remember being a student myself until not that long ago, so I want my sessions to be as I wished they had been when I was in those shoes: efficient and student-focused.”
