Andy tutors students in grades 3-12 in History, English Language Arts, and Writing, and students in grades 3-9 in Math. Through his teaching experience over the last 18 years, he has developed a wide range of strategies to meet the specific needs of all learning styles. He is currently serving as a Special Education Teacher, and also has specialized experience working with students with ASD, as well as mental health challenges. Additionally, he supports students with executive functioning skills and test-taking strategies. He is also experienced in working with students for whom English is not their first language, including bilingual students. He enjoys developing personalized materials to target the specific learning profiles of each child.

Students should be met with empathy, while also being held accountable. Andy is a Boston sports fan who loves watching the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox. Andy has three kids of his own, who are 9, 7, and 3. Andy comes from a long line of educators, including his father who was a Brookline elementary school principal for 26 years.“
