She enjoys developing personalized materials to meet the specific needs of her students. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering at Northeastern University.
“Hello! I’m Anushka, and I’m very passionate about learning and helping others feel the same way! I got into tutoring by first helping the children of family friends with their schoolwork. I found it so rewarding seeing students feel empowered by their learning that I decided to pursue opportunities to tutor both elementary school and college students. Everyone faces struggles in school, but I believe everyone has the tools they need to overcome them. Just like any muscle, the brain learns with repetition and practice.
Outside of tutoring, I have many hobbies: I enjoy reading outside on a sunny day, cooking yummy meals, and crafting! I love coming across new crafting ideas and learning new skills by trying my hand at them. Additionally, I really enjoy travelling to new places. My favorite thing to do in a new area is to try the local cuisine – you can learn so much about a place’s culture through their food practices. My favorite travel spot so far is Bali, Indonesia, with a close second being visiting my family in India!”
