Caitlin specializes in English Language Arts and tutors students in grades K-12. She is experienced in supporting students on early literacy skills and phonics, through high school literature and composition skills. She has prepared students for the verbal sections of the SAT test. She develops personalized materials to meet the specific needs of her students. She especially enjoys teaching writing, and served as the Staff Journalist for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian at UMass Amherst.
Caitlin says: “I think learning can be something everyone finds enjoyment in if given the right tools. I’ve had a deep passion for the English language ever since I can remember, and always found purpose in reading and writing. To be able to share that passion and the love for English with others is very rewarding. I furthered my undergraduate studies at The University of Alicante in Spain, with a focus on Intercultural Communications. I’ve been involved in camp counseling and childcare, and have loved my experiences working with children. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, adventures in the outdoors, fiction writing, and painting.
