Dakota Champagne

Education:

Bachelor of Science, Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, Northeastern University Honors Program, 2023

Dakota tutors students in grades 7-12 in the Humanities and English, and students in grades 7-10 in Math, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. She has over 4 years of experience as a debate instructor and private coach, supporting students in public speaking, research, and critical thinking. She served as a teaching assistant for an upper-level honors writing seminar, and has additional experience as a writing tutor. She enjoys developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of her students. She also plans to pursue her PhD in Philosophy at the University of Toronto.
Dakota’s ambitions to pursue her PhD in philosophy stem from a passion for teaching and an intense desire to deeply understand the world around her. She draws most of her inspiration from authors such as Voltaire, Spinoza, and Iris Murdoch. Upon graduating U of T, her goal is to become a professor at the University level. Outside of school/work, Dakota spends her time cooking vegan meals and desserts, cycling around Boston, and playing billiards and chess. She has a pet cat named Boots and a fish named Wallace.
