He is currently working as a Consultant at a financial consulting firm, and will be pursuing his PhD in Mathematics at Georgetown University. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a Teaching Assistant for the last three years, for courses in Calculus and Number Theory. He enjoys developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of his students.
Henry says: “Hi! I’m Henry, and I’ve been tutoring for over five years. I first started in high school, where I realized how much I loved helping others work through challenging concepts, especially in math. Since then, tutoring has been a constant part of my life, continuing through college and beyond. My approach focuses on building intuition rather than just memorizing steps as I like to work with students to really understand why things work, so the material feels more natural and sticks long term. That mindset has also shaped my own academic path, leading me to pursue research in math and chemistry and contribute to three peer-reviewed publications. Outside of tutoring, I’m a big sports fan and love staying active, whether that’s watching the New York Islanders, playing hockey or spikeball, or running Spartan Races. I also enjoy traveling, film editing, and I’m a huge fan of the TV show Survivor.“
