Jacqueline Louis-Gaines

Education:

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, Boston University, 1997.

Jacqueline tutors students in grades K-6 in all subjects, including math and English Language Arts. She is experienced in providing support in early literacy skills, and enjoys developing personalized materials in order to make tutoring fun and engaging. She has worked with students with a wide range of special needs, including ASD and ADHD. She also served as a SAT rater, reading and scoring student essays.  She is an educator by nature, with four years of experience as a substitute teacher; she prides herself in the fact that most students she tutored in the past were able to quickly catch up to their classmates. Additionally, she is experienced in using a wide range of assessment tools in order to determine the specific needs of her students.
