Joan Atlas

Joan has been teaching for 25 years, specializing in writing, literature, and public speaking. She is experienced in working with students with a wide range of special needs and has also worked extensively with international students. Joan currently tutors students in grades 5 to 12 in English Language Arts, including writing (with a focus on editing and revision), literary analysis, and history (especially research papers). In addition to teaching at Middlesex Community College and Bentley University, she is familiar with private schools, colleges and universities throughout the United States and provides comprehensive support in the admissions process, including completing applications, preparing students for admission interviews, and writing admission essays.
