Joshua Grover

Joshua tutors students in grades 4-12, as well as at the undergraduate level, in Math, English/Writing, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. He has worked with students with mobility challenges and speech delays. He enjoys developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of his students, especially in the sciences. He has also led tour groups through various natural settings to provide opportunities for learning and exposure to the outdoors.

Joshua says: “Hi, my name is Joshua Grover. I recently graduated from Harvard with highest honors in integrative biology and a thesis in medical research. Having come from an independent private school background, I feel that I am uniquely attuned to the expectations of competitive academic environments. I hope to share the strategies I developed to manage assignments, responsibilities, and time-constraints, all while finding beauty and enthusiasm within the course material. I have experience working with students of all ages, from elementary school to undergraduate, particularly in areas of math, science, writing, standardized testing, and college admissions. In my free time, I love gardening, reading, and playing chess. I look forward to working with you, and to setting your student on a path to success.“
