Julia specializes in Math for students in grades 7-12. She tutors students in Foundational Math, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Statistics, Calculus, Financial Literacy, Trigonometry, and other areas. She prepares students for all sections of the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, and ACT tests. She has extensive experience supporting students with learning disabilities, behavioral issues, executive function delays, and non-verbal learning disorders. She enjoys teaching students at all levels, and developing personalized materials to meet the specific needs of each student.

Julia says: “I’m excited to help your student with math. I love my subject and I’m looking forward to helping your student not only with content but with their confidence in their capabilities. My teaching philosophy is that I build mathematical skills so my students have a toolbox to solve mathematical problems in any classroom. When I’m not teaching, you can find me in one of Boston’s many bookstores (I recommend Trident Books), running along the Esplanade (training for my marathon) or hosting game night (I’m the best at Chronology).
