Kate tutors students at all grade levels, from preschool through high school. She tutors students in English Language Arts and History through grade 12, Math through grade 10, as well as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, and Genetics. She prepares students for all sections of the ISEE and SSAT tests. She tutors students in Spanish at all levels and served as a Spanish interpreter. She is currently working as a preschool teacher in Boston, and is experienced in preparing literacy and math materials for emerging learners. She has worked with students with a wide range of special needs, and has experience working in ABA classrooms and individually with students with ASD, as well as students with low vision. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling at MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Kate recently moved to Boston from New York and is enjoying her exploration of the new city. In her free time, she enjoys running along the Esplanade and reading mystery novels near the waterfront. She is eating her way through every North End restaurant in search of the best chicken parmigiana (recommendations welcome)! She was recently named the president of an on-campus multidisciplinary healthcare club for students with an interest in pediatrics, a field in which she hopes to practice as a future genetic counselor. Kate is adept at recognizing the unique strengths that each student brings to a session and creates a warm, comfortable environment for students to learn and grow.”
