Lori has been teaching for over 25 years and specializes in working with students in grades 5-12 in English Language Arts, Social Studies, History, Biology, and Engineering. She is experienced in test preparation for the SAT, ACT, MCAS, and GED. She supports students through the college admission process, including all aspects of the application process, admission essays, and interviews. She has extensive experience working with students with a wide range of special needs, including ADHD/ADD, ASD, PTSD, emotional/behavioral needs, and developmental and learning disabilities. She is trained in ABA methodology, and has worked with students with severe emotional problems and psychiatric disorders. She is trained in a wide range of curriculum methods, including the Wilson Reading Program. Additionally, she serves as a soccer and basketball coach, and is an advisor for the Student Council, Debate Team, National Honor Society, and the Gay Straight Alliance. She enjoys working with students at all levels and developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of her students.
