Mary has been teaching for over 25 years. She tutors students in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and History at all grade levels, including early literacy skills, as well as students in K-3 in Math. She currently serves as a Special Education Reading Specialist. She completed her Orton-Gillingham certification in 2024, and is also fully trained in Wilson Reading methodology. She has worked with students with a wide range of special needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, and other reading disabilities, among other needs. She taught Language and Literature at the undergraduate level for 12 years, served as an Educational Advocate for 8 years, and served as an Educational Consultant and Advocate for over 20 years.
Mary resides on Cape Cod with her husband, children, chickens and her beloved Great Dane dog, Rosey May.  She has two children who are both attending Universities in New Hampshire for Pre-Law and Criminal Justice.  Mary enjoys reading books and walking along the Cape Cod Canal. Her favorite vacation destination is Walt Disney World in Florida, even as an adult!
