Tutor Subjects:
Micah tutors students in grades 10-12, as well as at the undergraduate level, in English Language Arts, History, Social Studies, and Civics. He develops personalized curriculum to engage his students in the subject matter. Additionally, he has worked with students with a wide range of behavioral and learning needs (including Nonverbal Learning Disability and ASD). He enjoys connecting with all students in order to provide a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Micah says: “I first got into tutoring while helping my peers in high school and college, and I’ve carried that passion into my graduate studies. I truly believe that the most effective learning happens when students feel both supported and challenged, so I aim to meet each student where they are while giving them the tools to grow in confidence and skill. Outside of academics, I’m a lover of history and culture (travel, books, film, etc.), and I really enjoy bringing these broader perspectives to my teaching. In my free time, I like hiking, gardening, and keeping up with Boston sports. I also have a soft spot for animals, especially my two dogs.“
