Nina Zhang

Nina tutors students in grades 5-12 in Biology, English Language Arts, and Math (through Algebra I & II), Precalculus, Calculus, and Trigonometry. She prepares students for all sections of the ISEE and SSAT tests. During her undergraduate degree, she was a researcher in molecular biology and genetics. She enjoys developing personalized materials to meet the specific needs of her students. She was also the captain of her ultimate frisbee team at Brandeis, and served as a Youth Program Coach for the Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at Harvard University.

Nina says: “My educational philosophy is centered around fostering curiosity, growth, and critical thinking. I began teaching and tutoring because I believe that knowledge empowers individuals and is a constant inspiration that makes an impactful change in the world. Education not only equips individuals with skills and knowledge, but also nurtures their ability to think independently.”
