Peter Teutsch

Bachelor of Arts, History, Suffolk University, 2021

Peter tutors students in grades 9-12, as well as undergraduate level, in English Language Arts, Literature, History, Biology, and Physics. He is experienced in working with students with special needs, including ADD, ASD, dyslexia, and behavioral needs. He has worked for the past two years at an alternate collaborative school program for students ages 14-22. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a Teaching Assistant for the Theater, Philosophy, and History departments, and helped develop lesson plans and assign homework. He enjoys personalizing his instruction to meet the specific needs of his students.
Peter has had many educational experiences, from studying Roman History in Italy to visiting England, Germany, and Iceland. Peter had also won Teacher of the Month at Valley Collaborative as a Teacher Assistant. He also uses emotional strategies to support students struggling with anxiety and depression. He has a passion for history and learning in general, and is always excited to learn and have new experiences.
