Sam has been teaching for over 12 years and supports students from grades 6-12 in Math (including middle school Math, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Precalculus, and Calculus) and Physics. He has experience as an executive functioning coach for students with ADHD and executive functioning delays, supporting them with organizational strategies and study skills. He has worked with students at all levels and enjoys individualizing his teaching methods to meet the specific needs of his students.

Sam says, “I LOVE talking math with students–my favorite part is when I see the gears in my students’ heads turn. I live for that moment when math finally clicks for someone I am helping. I am a fun-loving teacher. I keep math interesting and tell corny math jokes during sessions. After almost every session I hear, “Oh, was that it?” because I offer a warm and engaging atmosphere in which time seems to fly by (no more staring at the clock)!”
