Samantha says: “Hi, my name is Sam and I am a second grade teacher in Methuen. I teach English newcomers in my classroom.  In addition to teaching my students the traditional core subjects, I am also teaching them English. Last year, I was a first grade teacher at Witchcraft Heights in Salem. I have experience as a long term substitute in Kindergarten, first and second grade. I have always had a lifelong love of knowledge and I love to help my students develop a love for learning as well. My number one goal in my classroom and as a tutor is to make sure my students feel safe, loved and respected. I just moved to Amesbury with my corgi, Toby. We love exploring the area and taking walks along the beach. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I love to read, travel, ride my Peloton bike and go hiking. My favorite travel experience was my trip to Iceland in 2021! I couldn’t believe how beautiful the country is and I can’t wait to go back again in the future!”
