Tutor Subjects:
Shannon tutors students in grades 2-12 in all subject areas, including Math, English Language Arts, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, and Spanish I. In addition to academic tutoring, Shannon enjoys supporting students in public speaking and communication skills. She strives to develop personalized tutoring materials to meet the specific needs of her students. Additionally, she served as an NCAA Ice Hockey Player throughout her undergraduate studies, including holding the role of Captain and All-American Scholar.
Shannon says: “I have always loved learning and teaching; I find the two often happen simultaneously. From tutoring younger children to being a college level course assistant, I have a wide range of experiences. I also played collegiate ice hockey, where I captained the team my senior year and gained invaluable leadership skills I bring into all areas of my life. In my free time, I love hiking, cooking, and playing with my dog.“
